Here's an 8-song split CD from two excellent bands, released a couple of years back. Both bands do four songs each. The Freeze start it all off with their brand of hardcore punk rock right out of the 80's, that sounds almost like an American version of GBH. Great band! The Bollweevils finish this thing off with four more great punk rock tunes that have a bit more modern sound than The Freeze. The drumming's really fast, continuously rolling and thudding along in the background. The vocals and guitars top it off with a very emotional and energetic style. They even cover The Freeze's Trouble if You Hide here. Overall, this is definitely a very enjoyable CD. Two excellent bands represented on one record...what more could you ask for? Well, maybe a few more songs!
