Rigorous Institution: Lords of Misrule cassette
Four songs recorded to 4-track tape in the Rigorous Institution practice space by Ian Howe (NERVESKADE, FRENZY and many more) and then mixed down the hall by Evan Mersky at Red Lantern Studios. Three original tracks plus a cover of "Horrible Eyes" by the Italian legends DEATH SS. After recording and mixing the LP "Cainsmarsh" in summer 2021, Rigorous learned that pressing plant delays would likely take well over a year for the vinyl, so in the interim why not do a classic rehearsal space tape? Alas, the pressing plant gods showed favor and Cainsmarsh"came out much sooner than originally expected, but the Lords of Misrule marched on regardless, just a lot later than planned. First release on DOGS OF ALTAMONT.
