Toots & The Maytals: Sweet And Dandy 12"

Real Gone Music and Vinyl Voice Editions are proud to present one of the greatest and most consequential reggae albums of all time, the 1969 release Sweet and Dandy from Toots and Maytals. Not only was this this record that premiered two all-time reggae classics, "Sweet and Dandy" and "Pressure Drop," that were later part of the legendary The Harder They Come soundtrack, but it also marked the first time the Maytals were billed as Toots and the Maytals, thus paving the way for Toots Hibbert to assume his rightful mantle as one of the most revered vocalists in all of Jamaican music.Originally produced by the great Leslie Kong for his Beverley's label, this one's a cornerstone of any reggae collection...yet, it has never been reissued on LP to music retail.
