Behind KATARSI we find a restless mind located on the margins of a gray Bilbao. This solo project encompasses the expression of a series of disappointments and feelings brutally embodied in music and lyrics. Lyrically, self-criticism is present in each of the lines, as well as disappointment, sadness and the desire to improve; a book of sonic cathartic complacency for emotionally difficult times in an emotionally impossible world. Musically this sounds like synth-punk with a very 2000s base and sounds like bands like The Epoxies, The Sovietettes and the entire team of the Dirtnap Records label but at the same time the wild and raw aftertaste is latent. Riffs and sounds of the most classic British punk of Cock Sparrer and contemporary French Oi! full of melody and melancholy. 8 extremely catchy, choreable, synthetic and lyrically necessary songs in these times... because there is nothing we can change and this will be our happy ending.
