Whiskey Smoke Vinyl

The legendary lost album from Grannie returns — one of the rarest private-press rock LPs of the British ’70s underground.

Recorded in 1971 at the fading edge of the British counterculture, Grannie is one of those albums that almost disappeared before the world had a chance to hear it. Captured live in a single eight-hour session at SRT Studios in Hitchin and privately pressed in just ninety-nine copies, the record was never meant to be rare, only to preserve a band’s music and help them move forward. Instead, it became a lost artifact.
