On their second EP, Borrowed Time, LIFE SUPPORT lays bare the doomed nature of man and his eagerness to self-destruct. The problem of being is not that life happens, but that man fails to serve a transcendent purpose. Aimless in solitude and set free to determine his own fate, man is alone and incomplete. The utter lack of purpose within his soul is rectified only by a unified vision of the future, in which he plays a part. Without it, he merely bides his time, wide open to the dangers that haunt our existence.
