What we have here is a 12" slice of abject ferocity. Filled out with members of every good Winnipeg Punk band from the last 2 decades, Negative Charge have concocted one hell of a debut. This masterclass of Hardcore Punk has Frankensteined the sinew, spit and muscle from some of the most monstrous entities of the genre that walked before it. You'll recognize the octopus tentacles that provided the impossible drumming on Is This My World. You'll freeze in awe with the quality of riffing that culminated in War All The Time. You'll recognize that same hunched silhouette dragging bloody knuckles down the alleyways of the Bowery in 1983. This is the same quality of heart and energy that hardened the steel in steel city circa 2015.
But this is Winnipeg 2025 and the monster she created will not be contained.
