Sons Of Cyrus: Trigger Happy 12"
A new record from the Swedes is always welcome, especially since Sons Of Cyrus have not disappointed in any of their recordings so far! And “Trigger-happy” is no exception! All in all, there are eight new songs, again recorded by Hellacopter's producer Chips Kiesbye, which seamlessly follow the two previous albums "Rock & Rollercoaster" and the debut of the same name. The biggest trump card is certainly singer Loverboy, who shapes the band's sound with his clear, incredibly soulful vocals, but the other sons aren't from bad parents either! Between forward-powering, straight garage punk with a slight sixties flair and hellishly rocking raw power riffs, they always push songs like "Promised land", "She lived on the edge" or "It is true" powerfully forward.
