With 4 unremarkable gigs under their belt, a few Pittsburgh locals have compared United Stare to Rites of Spring, AC/DC, and Radio Birdman. They are nowhere as good as any of those bands, and was actually trying to sound like Husker Du, which they were told they do not sound like at all.
