VENENÖ is a three-piece band from NYC that sings in Spanish. Formed by former and current members of 45 ADAPTERS, THE STANCE, NEW YORK HOUNDS, THE TAKE, THE PRESS, and others from the Punk and Oi! scenes of NYC and Boston, the line-up includes Max on drums, Edwin on bass and vocals, and Kongo on guitar and vocals. Their music aims to blend elements of 80s punk and Oi! with hints of post-punk. This is the debut release on vinyl, following their debut demo cassette released last year. Since that initial demo, Venenö has become a stalwart of the NYC punk scene playing with bands such as THE BELTONES, SLUGGER, LION’S LAW, CASTILLO and more.
